The producers of the award-winning Philly Craft Beer Festival and Pour the Core: Hard Cider Festival return to the Philadelphia area with the Valley Forge Beer & Cider Festival being held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.  New this year…hard cider lovers will find much to enjoy as they join in on the festivities with the army of craft beer lovers as they unite under one roof at the Valley Forge Beer & Cider Festival.  With more than 100 beers and ciders to try, this new and expanded Expo is sure to please.  The Expo Center is easy to get to and offers free on-site parking.  A sell-out is expected, so get your tickets early.

The event will feature an incredible variety of beers & ciders from the local area, from across the country, and from around the globe.  Shoulder to shoulder with the most popular local breweries and cideries will be amazing producers from across the country and around the world.  Check back often, the list will be updated frequently.

Session 1 or Session 2:

Tickets include a 5 oz. tasting glass with a 2 oz. pour line and the freedom to walk the festival and sample beer and cider from participating companies. Designated drivers do not receive a tasting glass and are not permitted to sample any beer or cider. Food will be available for purchase during each session.

Session 2 (Evening): 5:30pm - 9:00pm (first pour at 5:30pm) $40 online in advance ($60 at the door on event day if still available)

Designated Driver tickets are available for $10. A DD ticket holder will get a bottle of water. Designated drivers do NOT receive a tasting glass and are NOT permitted to sample any beer or cider. Any designated driver seen drinking will be removed from the festival immediately. Designated drivers must be 21+ and present valid photo ID for entry.

Food is not included in the ticket price, but will be available for purchase during each session from the on-site concession stands. A limited number of tickets are available for each session. When the event sells out, NO additional tickets will be sold online or at the door. Everyone who holds a ticket will be admitted—the event WILL NOT BE OVERSOLD. We want every attendee to be able to sample the beers and ciders they desire and to move around the event freely, comfortably, and safely.

No one under 21 will be admitted. Only those 21+ with valid photo ID will be admitted. No exceptions. This includes designated drivers who must be 21+ to attend. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered. For the safety of everyone at the festival, no infants, children, strollers, or pets will be allowed. Please plan accordingly.

Support the Committee to Benefit the Children:

The event will help raise funds for the CBC, Committee to Benefit the Children, a local Philly charity that provides resources for treatment, care and family support to benefit area children with cancer, leukemia and serious blood disorders.  To date, the Philly Craft Beer Fest and the International Great Beer Expo producers have proudly donated more than $50,000 to this local Philadelphia charity.

The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is located at 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, PA 19456. Building B.

NOTE: Some GPS and mobile apps do not recognize the Expo Center by this address. If this happens, use this address: 1601 Egypt Road Phoenixville, PA 19460 (Upper Providence Township). This will take you to the Oaks Deli and Pizzeria, from which you can easily follow signs to the Expo Center.
